We are overjoyed to announce that 15-year-old Luke Van Barneveld from Australia has officially signed a 1 year scholarship with the first division Spanish club, Celta De Vigo! 🇦🇺🔜🇪🇸
Luke first turned heads at one of our scouting events two years ago. His potential was immediately apparent, and it wasn't long before he was picked up by Celta De Vigo for a three-month trial. Although he returned to Australia to refine a few skills, his commitment and progress didn't go unnoticed. This year, after reattending our event, Celta was quick to offer him another chance— this time a one-month sponsorship that has culminated in an official signing.
Luke is a player that exudes class both on and off the pitch and at such a young age is an example of what A natural born leader should be.
